Summary of CHL Car Rental Program
The CHL Car Rental Program provides our customers with a temporary transportation solution waiting upon arrival in the U.S. This is an adequate solution if you only need a car for two weeks. The Rental Car Program is somewhat expensive because customers must purchase the insurance provided by the agency. This option should be selected only if you know you’ll be able to obtain a permanent source of transportation within two weeks. The cost of this program is $600 and it provides our customers with a car for up to a maximum of 14 days.
Pricing
The cost of the Car Rental Program is $600 and is due upon arrival. (For VIF educators, $550 will be deducted from the Relocation Loan and $50 will be due upon arrival.)
The price includes unlimited miles per day and insurance. If you turn in the car earlier than 14 days, a daily amount of $35 will be refunded to you.
Insurance
Insurance is included in our Car Rental Program (14 days only). Please understand that auto insurance required for all drivers in the U.S. If you rent a car outside our Program, please contact your insurance provider to confirm that your policy covers the car rental.
Getting the Car
Detailed information will be provided to you upon arrival. This information includes name, phone number, location of the car rental agency and instructions.
Returning the Car
You will return the car to the same rental agency location where you received the car. More detailed instructions will be provided upon arrival.
Mileage
CHL customers are allowed unlimited miles during the 14-day period.
